We there was a problem with my card, the young lady at the front desk was very helpful in trying to resolve the situation. I was on the phone with my wife and the bank, trying to clear up the situation. All this time she was working on resolving the problem while handling other guest with their issues. She continued to work on the problem and eventually resolved it. All the while, reassuring me that she would resolve the problem. She was very comforting in a very stressful situation.
My family and I stayed in the Holiday Inn Express in The Villages, Florida, in August of 2017. We had chosen this hotel based on a previous stay where we were very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel.
The only good point about this hotel was Flor, one of the managers, who was a delight to talk to and was wonderfully helpful to rectify our problems.
Stayed at this hotel after Irma. It was VERY busy. I had an issue with the tub but they fixed it. Nice breakfast ..nice rooms. It was a good place to stay.
This young lady is a tremendous asset to the company. I just wanted to share this with you.
This stay was an absolute 180 turn from the past stay. I was told that there was water damage since our stay a few months earlier. The shortest version is that the air quality was moldy and humid, the bathroom had pubic hair and urine leftover upon our checkin from a previous guest, and the pet dander in the hotel was horrendous.
The first room we got had a terrible odor, very stuffy and musty. I went to desk and told them and they gave us another room. Second room was occupied. Returned to front desk got another room key. Third room had a worse odor then first. I could hardly talk because my throat was closing up because the odor was so pungent. I returned yet again to front desk and just wanted a refund and go find another motel. I was told it was a prepaid room and there was no refund. Desk clerk gave us a suite instead. The fourth room still had an odor but not as bad. It was very hard to sleep as the sheets smelled also. I'll be calling corporate office about this matter. I can still smell the rooms as it is imbedded in my nostrils!!! Please do not book online. Ask to see a room before booking!!
There was an issue with my card when I went to check in. My son and I had been traveling all day. He was moving back home and I flew up early in the morning to help him before we set out on the road. It was a long trip and by the time we arrived, we were very tired.
